Special RecognitionsThe Club will be using positive reinforcement programs to help build confidence and self-esteem. The youngest of the children will have charts to track their progress.
Students will also have several opportunities to earn special patches. “Star and Superstar” is for academic achievements. The “Star” is a pin award and the “Superstar” is a trophy award. The “Academic Achievement” patch will be awarded to those students who stay on the honor roll all year. The “Die Hard Club” will have a special patch and will be earned by attending all the classes, practicing, and doing well at home and at school. |  |
We will also have a Demonstration Team. This will allow all of the students a chance to show what they know to people outside the Club. We will also try to
attend some tournaments. This will give the students a chance to compete and earn trophies.

Rank Testing and PromotionThe right to attend rank testing will be earned. Rank will also be earned. There will not be any social promotion at the Club.
Students may only miss ONE class a month to qualify for rank testing. Testing will consist of verbal, written, and physical elements. If you miss a rank test and you have rank in the club - you will no longer be allowed to wear your rank until you retest for that rank! Anyone under the age of 18 years old may test for a Junior Rank for White, Honorary Yellow and Yellow. This means they may have added assistance in the test and not be penalized. To test for Honorary Green, if you hold a Junior Rank, you must retake the Full Yellow test and pass without any assistance before being invited to the Honorary Green test. |  |
The fee for testing will be separate from class fees and will have to be paid in full before testing. In addition, class fees will have to be up to date if the
student is to test.
Invitation to rank testing will be given to the student by the Instructor. It is a privilege to test and your behavior outside the Club is just as important as your behavior inside the club!
Everyone will be treated the same - NO EXCEPTIONS!
