NOTE: Our kung fu program and waiting list is full, therefore we are not accepting new applications at this time. We will repost the kung fu application if openings occur in the future. Mission - Our Renegade Royal Kung Fu Club builds strong, honest, and confident leaders for our future through physical and mental training in martial arts. As with everything at the ranch, this is a Christian based ministry designed for inclusion. Advanced students are matched with a younger, special needs child to mentor. Student Oaths“I will develop myself in a positive and Christian manner and avoid anything that would reduce my mental and spiritual growth or my physical health. I will develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others. I will use what I learn in class constructively and defensively to help myself and my fellow man and never to be abusive or offensive!”
“To build true confidence through knowledge in the mind, honesty in the heart and strength in the body. To keep friendship with one another and to build a strong and happy community. Never fight to achieve selfish ends, but to develop might for Christ!” There is a “Zero Tolerance" policy on profanity, yelling at each other, degrading each other, and bullying! Uniforms
When a student first starts at the Club, they will be in sweatpants and a t-shirt. If they stick with the program and they wish to advance in rank, then they will be required to purchase a martial arts uniform. The fee for the uniform will be $50.
The uniform for 6 years old and up is a club t-shirts and black kung fu pants. The uniform for under 6 years old is a special Lil’ Dragon uniform.
The Demonstration Team will have to purchase a separate uniform strictly to be used in demonstrations or tournaments. The cost will also be $80. We will try to help those who are in the Scholarship Program.
** The Club is also going to implement a uniform trade-in program. This will allow students who outgrow their uniform to trade it in on the purchase of a new uniform (as long as the uniform is in good shape). This program will allow the Club to have uniforms on hand at a lower price or free for those who cannot afford one. **
